This is a very well implamented effect that very well should be kept exclusive, hard to get, and more should be made that can only be wearable by brawlers. Their was a recent change to make mutliple items with this effect change the damage from a 20% increase to 33% increase. I guess to make the max ammount you could have go from 5 peices to 3 peices . Which Is an upgrade. less gear slots to waste. Being a monk This gear is VERY needed. I still have to toggle through encounter mobs to keep aggro on mobs when wont die at all. I will lose aggro. Did the new change also include a proc % decrease. True I did see the damage go up produced by the items go up but in turn i somehow saw a drop total outgoing damage percentage decrease. Maybe that was a fluke.

This effect should be put into effect on other peices of gear. Except for ANY avoidance check produced by the Brawler ( also brawler specific to prevent aoe tanks being able to pull zones while at max level or mentored, stand there and keep aggro. Right now The peices are hard to get. The belt from the T8 runnyeye, was something i just held on to. The charm of the lost took a little work. The burning lavastud is insanely rare, un attained after over 20 runs, *3 being hot zone* /dang masters and robes.

The hood from the everfrost zone is a step twards the right direction except i see paladins using it lol, the Damage can not be increased so its a full half of the damage Mutagenic burst. Still you have to take damage for it to proc. Which involves offensive stances, (defensive im like 85%). Pulling 5-8 mobs and being in offensive isnt something every monk can just do.....

Dont get me started on the Crane Twirl- Does't crit, have to be meleeing,: Changing this maybe to a PBAE auto attack. change for brawler line? Or think about it for the next expansion. Brawlers have no ae aggro. Brusiers have more then monks. Rather this is intended or not. Monks Have the worst in the game. It is hard. Alot of effort is needed.

My thoughts. I like input

I've had the headpiece from EF1 for a about 2 weeks now and I thought that made AE agro easy. Today I ran CL1 and was lucky enough to pick up the charm. The next thing I did was equip both items and pull the entire bottom half of the zone, parsing 7000 DPS just standing in place. I still need to farm DF some more for the earring. After the DF earring, what item should I look to pick up for the 3rd mutagenic piece (asides from the RE2 belt)? I was thinking of trying for the earring from the EFx4, but I would prefer something that would fit into another jewelry/cloak slot (I have a lot of nice earrings, rings, and belts).

As for a change in proc rate I can't really say, I haven't noticed the helm proccing any more or any less but I also never payed huge attention to how much it did proc. Since I have gotten the helm it has been more than enough to make tanking multiple mobs much easier. The only people who really give me trouble any more are warlocks (and to a lesser extent conjurers) and people who don't pay attention to my 2 basic rules for tanking:

1. Don't put any reactive/preheals/etc on my for the pull.

2. Don't start attacking till I have stopped moving (ie I am in my tanking spot).

As for maximizing the procs on these items, I like to go in with Defensive and Mountain stances on as well as Outward Calm to pull a room so that my healer has enough time to react to the situation. After I see everything is stable I will than transition to the Combo stance and finally offensive stance if the healer I'm with can keep me alive. This way I stay alive while pulling the room and can maximize the proc rate depending on the ability of the healer. I also like to back into a corner so that if I need to hit Tsunami I will still be generating a decent amount of agro off riposte damage on the swarm of mobs. I also find that doing this tends get the mobs to clump closer together so that I don't need to worry about mobs being out of the procs radius.
