View Full Version : Yet another writ giver idea

This is yet another idea on how to change the writ giver in order to stop the zerg:

Make FP, exile and Q have *separate* writ givers in opposite ends of the zone. For KP, say Q writ giver is in Kunzar's edge and FP writ giver is in Highton. For Sinking Sands, place FP writ giver on onerock isle and Q writ giver in twin tears.

Simple fix, forcing people to move around rather than stand in one big heap in teren's.

To force even more moving around, make sure there are no ress points close to the writ givers.

One writ giver in east freeport and one in qeynos harbor which every other writ giver removed from every zone.

no broncas, all ppl would zone to sinking sands and zoning would be increase the lag.

separate writgivers is a nice idea, but the only thing which can stop the zerg is a big lose if u die, imo.

difficult...

I really like the PVP in TG even zerging.

What do you have to complain about other than the lag?

I find the lag tolerable in the short term but yea--sony--you really do need to fix that.

The zerg won't go away unless a large chunk of the player base goes away. SOE has no desire to loose a chunk of their player base so the answer is to find creative ways to live with the zerg, and improve it.

The top problem with the zerg is it quickly grows stagnant and boring, so solutions need to make it more dynamic and exciting.

Seperate writ givers for Qeynos and Freeport would improve PvP. It would make the zerg more mobile and less static.

Restricting writ givers to being only within the cities would make the zerg more static and less dynamic. It would just move the zerg down to the SS docks.

Writ givers should also not be in static locations. There should be a pair of writ givers for each tier that remain in place until they give out a set number of completed writs, and then move. Examples being.

1 set of t8 writ givers that rotates between KP, Fens, KJ, JW, and Moors. When a set number of writs has been fulfilled the writ giver moves location to a different zone.

1 set of t7 writ givers that rotates between TT, BS, Bonemire, and LP. When a set number of writs has been fulfilled the writ giver moves location to a different zone.

1 set of t6 writ givers that rotates between SS, PoF, and LFey. exc exc.. When a set number of writs has been fulfilled the writ giver moves location to a different zone.

Keep the zerg dynamic rather than static.
