New computer problems after download

<p>Finally after about 1 week of downloading to my new computer, the PLAY option came up.  I log in and accept the terms then......nothing.  </p><p>I think I remember the same thing happening a few months ago and I had to delete a patch file.  I have no idea what that one was.</p><p>What should I do?</p>

<p>The patch file issue only occurred for 1 day and shouldn't be effecting you unless you download the game on that day and haven't tried to play it since.  That seems unlikely, but the file name was patch.vpk if that is the case here.</p><p>Are you using an Nvidia card?  What drivers are you using if so?  The 190 and 191 series drivers have been causing a lot of issues with the game so I would advise using the 186 series for now.  You should be able to obtain those at the following link:</p><p><a href="http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find...aspx?lang=en-us</a></p><p>If that doesn't correct the issue(or if you're not using Nvidia), then please respond with some additional information about your computer setup.  The first section or 2 of your DXdiag file would be a great help.</p>
