<p>Over the last five hours, I have been trying to get into EQ2.  The Station Launcher appears to have updated correctly, but when I try to play, a popup box appears saying that "The server cannot find your character.  Please exit and rerun the patcher.  I am not really sure what this means, but I have exited and rerun the Station Launcher, which has resulted in the same message.</p><p>I also noticed that my main character window says that Nagafen is "Offline Server (down)."  I checked eq2players.station.sony.com/en/network_status.vm which indicates that all servers are up</p><p>Can someone please point out how I can fix this?</p>

<p>There are two "Play" options that I am aware of.  The first is one of the buttons, and the second is the "Play" option at the very bottom right on the screen.  The "Play" button is not functional (i.e., you cannot click it).  Instead, when you place the cursor over the "Play" button, floating pop-up text appears that states "This character's world is offline."</p><p>The error occurs when you click the "Play" option at the very bottom right on the screen.</p>

<p>As of about 15 Min ago, appears Server (Nagafen) is down A  G  A  I  N ! ! Server merge was a bad move !!</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>It does appear that Nagafen is currently locked.  Can you log into the in game character select or does that give you an error as well?  If you try to log in directly to a Nagafen character then that error will occur until the server comes back online.</p>

<p>Anyone ever heard of the word "OVERLOAD"? Can't stuff 20 pounds of taters in a ten pound sack, and expect it to hold !! IMO, merge was stupid. Considering trying "Aion".</p>

<p>Okay, it appears that when I log in using "game-character-select" that this does not produce the error.  However, when I entered the first time using this method, all my hot-bars were messed up.  I have not checked if other things are screwy or if my character has lost anything....will report back on that momentarily.</p>
