So, I've been downloading for almost 24 hours straight now.

I had issues with Vista, so I switched to Ubuntu 9.04, and ran off WINE, with major rendering issues... installed a VM with XP platform and ran into video card issues (the VM, not my card), yet successfully downloaded EQ2 twice on those setups within 8 hours each.

I was waiting for Windows 7 to come out. And I love it. Except for this downloading thing. I literally get to 5 minutes or so, then straight back up to four or five hours. I'm about ready to kill something!

Any ideas? Suggestions? It's not pinned to the taskbar... which I had found could cause it to re-download at every launch. But, I haven't even gotten a single complete download in the first place.

Current build is

Windows 7 Professional

Intel Duo Core 2.8GHz

6mb ram

nVidia 9600 GSO (768mb on board)

???? [Removed for Content]

Thank you!

Right click on the program launch icon2. Left click on "Properties".3. In the new window that pops up click on the "Compatibility" tab.4. Under "Privilege Level" make certain that the box next to "Run this program as administrator" is checked.5. Click on "Apply" then click on "Ok".6. Right click on the icon and select "Run as Administrator"
