Chat channels there but getting

<p>You do not have the required privledges to join 70-79 80 Guilds 2373 and a dozen others. So in effect chat is still not working.</p>

<p>I have done so 3 times, two times with a full file scan.</p><p>I can join a player made chat channel but not the level chats/auction/trade/etc.</p>

<p>I get the same "you do not have the privileges" message as well for Guild, 70-79...etc. I Just logged in for the first time after installing Windows 7. Camped twice and run full file scan. No dice. Can't chat.</p>

<p>I remember a certain file that once was told to delete to clear a bug with chat channels but I don't remember what it was called and can't seem to find anything in the folders that would contain the names of the chat channels I have listed.</p><p>I deleted both the contents of the logincache-us and cache folders, did a full scan again, and still not fixed.</p><p>I check the boxes to rejoin on the chat tab, and says I do not have the required privs.</p>

<p>It appears that all of the posts related to this issue were made within a short period of time.  I assume it has resolved itself since those posts occurred immediately after the game-wide chat issue.  If you are still being effected by this error then make sure to restart your computer and power cycle your modem first since that will probably correct the issue. </p><p>If the problem still persists after a restart/power cycle, then it may be necessary to redownload the core UI/settings files.  You may want to make backups and then delete the following files and folders:</p><p>cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.iniAs well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.ini</p><p>If deleting these files does not resolve your issue, you can restore your backed up files and folders and retain your hotkeys, contact lists, and display settings.</p>
