Problems starting EQ2 after installing Windows 7 Pro

<p>Every time I start EQ2 , my the game gets as far as starting to cache appearances and I get the error that MSVCP71.dll is missing...</p><p>Anyone have an idea?</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>Have you run Windows Update since installing Win7?  I do not have version 7 installed yet but that DLL file will usually come with the Windows install or through the updater.  If that doesn't correct the issue then you should be able to download the dll file from the web.  It seems to be available through the following site:</p><p><a href="http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvcp71" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/d...s.shtml?msvcp71</a></p>

<p>I couldn't start EQ2 off any of the CD / digi download versions - crashed every time on the launcher</p><p>However, the Station Launcher download (9gb) worked well - EQ2 seems a lot faster and <strong>a lot</strong> more stable than it was running on XP</p><p><a rel="nofollow" href="http://launcher.station.sony.com" target="_blank">http://launcher.station.sony.com</a></p><p>only problem i have is non-game ...
