Just a little feedback on the changed chance of armor drops in the Hedge Maze.

It took me five runs to acquire a whole set of armor.

Here's a list of the drops and the collection items:

1x Axe of Incapitation2x Raven Plushie3x Loincloth of Imperceptible Beauty

Nightmarish Ceremonial Plate - Armor1x Cuirass1x Greaves1x Sabatons2x Gauntlets2x Helm2x Gussets5x Spaulders

a lost - Collection1x finger2x action figute2x playing card3x mackerel3x pair of dice4x eye5x hairbrush

So, five runs is acceptable in my opinion to finish the collection and get a whole armor set plus weapon. At least compared to pre-patch.

I had to run the zone 26 times before i got my Nightmarish Ceremonial Greaves I almost petitioned it lol.

wish they would have made it smart loot

More interesting fact about Hedge Maze loot . . . run it at 80 and you get only the armor (which cant be transmuted, no-trade etc) and shinies and a few little body drops.

Now run it on lower toons, you get spell and armor drops off the trash mobs. Got an exquisite in there the other day with a master spell.

/boggle

may just be me, but after 5 runs and 20 drops i still have yet to have the shoulders drop. so [Removed for Content] is up. this is getting to be a big pain in the $#%^. so [Removed for Content] is up, did you break the drop rates again or are they still not equal.

i have gotten:

3 Nightmarish Ceremonial Plate pants

3 gloves

3 of the see through pants

1 chest

2 hats

4 gauntlets

2 boots

2 raven pushies

so why cant i get the shoulders to drop

It took me (at a conservative estimate) about 30 times to get a full suit of the armor.

I think he means the shoulders for the Nightmarish Armor. Not the special red spikey ones.

i do mean the nightmarish shoulders, i have the red spiky ones and dont care for them. now done the zone 11 times total and have yet to have them drop. that is worse than before the update for me. so [Removed for Content] is going on. before the patch i got them in 8 runs, but not i have done it 11 times and still no drop for my alts the is going on? finaly had the chest start droping. i only had 2 before the update and now have 5 so 2 more to go before all characters i have have it. but 1 pair of shoulders out of 19 runs there has to be something wrong. and no shoulders after 11 runs after patch there has to be something wrong. is there something i am doing wrong? any info would be great

what are the drop rate on them? .1%?

Ran it on my SK over the weekend while chatting with guildies . . which made it more amusing . . .

I ran it 10 times back to back . . .

I ended up with:

32 chest pieces

10 axes of decapitation

0 helmets or forearms

1-2 of the other pieces

What was funny was a couple of guildmates were getting everything but chest pieces . . . had to tell them because I already had them all.

As of last patch the armor all has an equal chance of dropping and the special items for each named have a slightly higher chance of dropping. i.e. the raven plushie, loincloth, and axe.

Seems you guys are just falling victim to the RNG and no I can't make them smart loot...

Well could we atleast get a zone out thingy in center of maze. So I don't have to call out or go back through maze tbh!

Mosha, I've ran this instance with a troubadour 25 and an assassin 54, both very bad geared and had no issue at all, it was actually easier than the LP haunted house.

Just to add my 2 cents, I actually was lucky enough to get 2 shoulders pieces before the patch and I can't have them now, but I get ton of bracers

I'm just a bit disappointed with the tapestry and the cloack, I don't like their design

On a couple toons it took me days to get them through, one of which I finally had to run very, very grey to get her through it (Necro).

My toons are not [Removed for Content], they are happily twinked and mastered, yet at lower levels they had a much harder time than my higher levels due to the lack of even scaling.

ETA: I should add that I play healers and casters (two baby melee that had no problems) my husband had no trouble running his toons (melee mostly) through the maze at any level, but he had to also run a couple of my healers through because I was so burned out on failing it and I wanted them all finished.

So yeah, melee probably isn't an issue at lower levels, but with healers and casters its a problem.

this is my last post because there is no reason for me to say much more, but finaly for my final post i will say this. i hope next year is better because this year was sad.

but what i wanted to really post was that i finaly got that 2nd pair of shoulders after 30+ runs which is really sad. still cant solo it one my conjy but finaly got it with my assassin. with this event only lasting a few more days there is no reason for me to request a change to it but only can hope that next years you guys dont make another event like this

I also found this very hard to do on my Templar and my Conj. But..... I self-mentor them down to around lvl 50 ( they are both lvl 80 and templar is raid geared) and just have alot of fun in there. I leave the zone green, meaning i dont unmentor once inside, so I get all the chests that might drop. Granted, they will be lvl 50 stuff but thats fine with me
