Unable to type in the in-game browser window

<p>As the subject says, I am unable to type in an in-game browser window, though oddly enough the Tab key works within the browser. I have tried doing so with a default UI and it still does not work. Once I click in the window to type, I am unable to do anything with my keyboard in the game until I tab out of the game and come back in.</p><p>Anyone run into this issue in the past and have a fix for it?</p>

<p>I've found it happens on any page that needs text input. EQ2i and fluffy are the two of places I've been trying and not having any luck.</p>

<p>It took me a few minutes to even find the browser in game since I usually have the game in windowed mode and have a normal IE window open.  I was able to type in both the google search windows and the forum sign in page, though. </p><p>Are you using any kind of custom user interface on that computer?  Also, what version of Windows are you using?</p>

<p>I usually run in windowed mode, as well, but need to be able to log in to use the fuffy.dk quest journal add-on. At first I thought it was just as issue with the add-on and so went back to default UI and still had issues typing in the browser.</p><p>All of that said, however, it's now a moot point, as I was able to type in the browser today. I ran a complete file check, it must have found something.</p>

For myself it must be just a browser coding issue since I can't log in to the eq2.wikia.com. It just doesn't let me click on the login button at the top right. I can't type in the text box for posts either on these forums.

I can't type in the text box for posts either on these forums.</blockquote><p>I assume you have performed a full file scan at this point since it seems to have corrected this problem for the other poster?  If not, that would certainly be worth trying.  Also, are you running the most recent version of Internet Explorer?  You might want to try updating your browser if not.</p>
