I seem to be having this issue with almost all of my combat sounds being muted. Anyone else having this problem?

I assume you checked your in-game volume settings already?

I have. It's weird though. I will get the sounds of my character being hit and the sound of my spells being resisted, but no other combat sound.

If you are using a headset make sure it is plugged in all the way. If it's not plugged in all the way or seated properly (might want to twist or wiggle it a tiny bit) that could account for odd sound issues like what you describe.

Has it always happened with your computer or did it start after an update? Let us know if the issue persists at that point.

I have made sure my sound drivers are updated. I actually just recently started playing again this weekend. I haven't played in about a year or so. I will check my headphones and maybe plug my speakers back in to see if my headphones are defective.

I have been playing EQ 1 with no sound problems though.

What does it say under 'Max Simultaneous Sounds'? Try moving that slider to the right and see if you can hear the additional sounds. Also check to make sure nothing is muted or very low int he 'Volume' section, but I bet you've already tried that.

Unfortunately I am not at home. I will make sure this is done tonight, but I am fairly sure I have tried this already. I am kind of stumped.
