Hi there.

I've noticed since I got my myth that my zerker tends to aggro indifferent mobs when fighting close to them. It happened with the ghosts flying around in Necrotic Asylum, and also with the guards standing in front of the tunnel leading to WoE in Lavastorm.

Since I didn't use any blue AoE's on those occasions, I wondered if this bug doesn't come from the Whirlwind effect of our myth (http://www.lootdb.com/eq2/item/-216472471), allowing us to hit all the opponents in range. Sure, it's not supposed to affect the npcs outside the encounter but what if ? It could also be due to the Hatespike effect of this Kelkrin's Bloodborn Shield (http://www.lootdb.com/eq2/item/-262787502).

It's not a severe bug, because we don't often fight next to non-aggro mobs but haa anyone noticed it as well ?

Myth clicky allows you to auto attack any attackable target in front of you so unfortunatly you just need to be carefull where your facing and be aware of non-agro's when fighting.

Something else i have found is that you'll awaken mezed mobs with it so again you have to keep the spacial awareness going when CC is working hard on over pulls.

Crsaders get the same problem if they are trample speced so it is simply a case of unclicking myth proc if you know there is a high chance of adding non agro's or be prepared to deal with them if they add in.

Hope this helps a little.

As the above poster said agroing the ghosts in NA or Hof is annoying because you can't fight back. I wouldn't mind if you could accidently agro the mob then kill it off, but the only resort is an evac or to target through a pet if you're fortunate enough to have one that agroed the ghost.

I had a friend petition this and apparently it's working as intended, so theres probalby nothing that will be done about it. Ahh well I will just have to [Removed for Content] and complain about it then hit evac hehe

it's just something you learn to deal with and turn off the clicky when around certain mobs.

It has worked this way for a long time for all group and open AEs and it should be the same for the AE clicky of the zerker myth. If not, I'd bug it.

I am assuming it is the myth clicky although i never actually checked through ACT's to see what was doing it. All i know is that once i moved away from the mobs in hand or canceled the clicky the mez held.

Not AEing NPCs seems like common sense (but I've been playing MMOs for 13 years)

The important thing to remember is to click it off when a strat calls for mezzed mobs. Some people still mez heroic adds and such so you can wipe a raid if you forget to turn it off in those rare situations.

AOE auto attack will not hit mezzed targets... it will however attack any 4 targets in a frontal arc as long as its not mezzed (yes attackable non agro'd mobs too) And some people act like we never had AOE auto attack untill we get the mythical... everyone seems to forget we have opens wounds

I chalked it off as some sort of server/client lag that fouled up the immunity. From the logs, it looked like the mez and auto attack occured at the exact same time and I never felt comfortable with it afterwards.

It's entirely possible that when your allies are mezzing targets, you had a DoT proc on them before they were mezzed with your AE auto attack. That'd cause your AE auto attack to 'break' the mezzes constantly. Again, be very careful with your AE auto-attack when mezzes are concerned, but you can AE-auto around mezzed mobs if you don't have any DoT procs (like the Claw of Kahlen)

Being the bloodthirsty Berserker that I am, I prefer to break mez as soon as I discover my enchanter is casting the spell
