I can't get them from Guru 3D nor Nvidia site, and googling doesn't get me them either.

It seems to stop at 186.xx ,which I am using then jump to 190.xx. I would appreciate a Link for the 189.xx the Devs are recommending here that we use.

Thanks.

I have no idea what the numbering scheme is behind Nvidia versioning but, so far as I know, there is no 189.xx version driver. Use the 186 driver available from the Nvidia archives.

I am at work and so can't test but you used ot be able to get nvidia drivers directly from their ftp server at ftp.nvidia.com

Oh, I can find drivers, just not the 189 ones the devs are suggesting.

Heh, I belive it was. No biggie. So may I ask which driver you are currently recommending, please? The 186.xx series?

I seem to be doing better on High Quality settings with a program called FreeRam XP Pro running that frees ram up.

Am also asking my PC guru about the comand line switch for reallocating the ram use to 3 ram available for gaming and such, with 1 ram spare, rather than 2 x 2. I read about this somewhere here. I do nothing like this without checking with him as he has built, and helped me build many of my comps including this one.

Ram command switch page on MSN - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...y/ms791558.aspx

FreeRam XP Pro - http://www.yourwaresolutions.com/software.html Memory monitoring and optimizing on the fly.
