Reactivated account - All characters gone

<p>My account has been inactive since Early June.  I was looking to play again and resume my prior characters but after reactivating my account all my characters appear to be gone.  Can the characters be restored?</p>

<p>Characters can usually be restored from backup if they are actually gone.  Couple of things to check:</p><p>1.  Did you activate the correct Station Account?  Many people create more than one Station Account for various reasons since they are free and easy to set up.  But game accounts are tied to specific Station Accounts.</p><p>2.  Are you sure you are logging into the correct Region?  There is a US Region, a couple of European Regions, a Japanese Region, etc.  They all have separate server farms and if you log into a European Region and your old characters are in the US Region then they will not show up.</p><p>3.  If your answer is "Yes" to both of those questions, then I recommend you call SOE customer assistance during business hours.  You likely aren't going to get much direct help here except advice.</p>

<p>all characters missing would be rare, what is more then likely the reason they are not showing is that you have the wrong reqion set and that is why the characters are not showing when you hit play. On the old patcher when the EULA page was displayed there was a drop down for the region select, on the station launcher after to logon the region setting is in the Preference box. take a look there.</p>
