How to create a fake link ingame?

<p>I see people linking items that have a fake text and when you click the link it shows a popup of the actual item. How is this done?</p>

<p>The copy the item link from the game to a text editor like notepad. They than change the name of the item and copy the new item link in-game. Ex:</p><p>Real item:</p><p><span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">aITEM -341424282 -471426680 -535112314:[The Restored Hand of Serenity]/a</span></p><p>Item after name change:</p><p>aITEM -341424282 -471426680 -535112314:[Example!]/a</p>
