<p>ERROR MESSAGE:</p><p>"http://eq2.patch.station.sony.com/patch/lp2/eq2/en/patch1/en-main/wrap_oal.dll.gz failed to download. Please try again. If the problem persists use the Help menu above for more info and help."</p><p>This a known issue?</p>

<p>I've looked up past "wrap_oal.dll.gz" issues and it's not the same as what I'm getting. I've done everything suggested in those posts as well.</p>

<p>What might you have tried on those posts? I'd rather not give you the same or similar responses, but I'll start from the top for now!</p><p>If you're using Windows Vista, please give these solutions a try to start if you haven't already:</p><p>Fix 1: (Vista Only)1. Right click on Station Launcher icon and go to properties2. Go to the compatibility tab3. Check "Run this program as administrator"4. Click Apply5. Right Click on the Station Launcher icon once again6. Click "Run as Administrator"Fix 2: (Vista Only)1. Make sure you are logged in on an Administrator account.2. Navigate to the Station Launcher folder (Usually c:program filessonystation will contain the Station Launcher folder)3. Right click on the Station Launcher folder and go to properties4. Click on the Security Tab5. Click on the Edit button.6. Go through each username or group listed and make sure all "Allow" boxes are checked7. Ensure that no "Deny" boxes are checked and click OK.Fix 3: (Vista/XP)1. Select the START button.2. Select RUN, then type in "msconfig" (for Vista, type msconfig in the search bar at the bottom of the Start Menu)3. Press OK4. Select the STARTUP tab.5. In the list, uncheck all boxes EXCEPT for SCANREGISTRY and SYSTEM TRAY. If you use Windows XP, please note that SCANREGISTRY and SYSTEM TRAY will not be listed - just uncheck the entire list.6. Hit apply and then OK. Restart the computer and try the game again.</p><p>--</p><p>Should you still have trouble afterwarsds, attempt deleting the file mentioned in the error and try again. If still no luck from there, we'll try checking some network fixes!</p>
