Priest Spells Broken

<p>its been far too long since ANYONE has bothered to even acknowledge that its broken and you were trying to fix it.  You have flat broken the druid damage shield buff, as well as the ONLY useful buff a fury has, feral.  I have 5 points spent in increasing the trigger chance, and it does bull squat when i have it only anyone but myself.  Our spells that we cast on people are not using the stats of the caster but instead of the target we cast a spell on, making them useless. </p><p>When the hell are you guys going to fix this? its been [Removed for Content] me off to no end that bug reports do nothing</p>

<p>wow surpised she just moved it and didnt lock it..  I agree though alot of healer stuff is a bit borked and they said they where going to be looking at it. moslt im concered about the heals that stun the caster, but im sure other issues are out there.</p>

<p>no, im not talking future changes to our buffs, im talking currently, it is broken.  Primal Fury the proc boost does not hit anyone i place it on.  the 5 AAs i spent on my 10% base CA damage for it, doesnt work on anyone but me, my thornskin the damage is calculated off the person i place it on, not the damage it says it will hit for. My fae fires hits for differnt amount for differnt people.</p><p>thank god my 5 AA hp buff works for 705 hp *twirrles finger*</p>

<p>A Coercer guildie was commenting on a similar issue for Manal Cloak, it was only procing on her even though she put it on others.</p>

<p>not as annoyed now, but still stupid, it is displaying wrong, but still procs the CA damage (at least on a pet)</p>

<p>From what I understand is that this is a display bug. Had a guildie say the same thing with his wards and group wards but after testing he said the numbers were right just displayed wrong for some reason.</p><p>For whatever thats worth. lol</p>

<p>Yes, it's a display bug only.  Thornskin still hits for the damage based on the caster's stats.  It'll crit in the 180-200 range for me when I have it on tanks.  Not sure about Feral as most scouts I put it on says the proc is up all the time.  Just remember how long it took for Tempest to get fixed....was it 4 months?  Guess I'm just use to our fixes taking forever. </p>

<p>just tested thornskin, display is wrong on my pet, and the damage is wrong.  Fae fires as well.  I see the proc as saying it should hit for 577, but when it triggers on my pet its 310.  Thornskin should be hitting for 96-118, but hits for 47-54, with a 57% hit rate... which okay hit rate isnt that big of a deal, but the damage is. </p><p>wish i were testing this with a person, not a charmed dragon drool leech</p>

<p>just tested out Primal Fury with an inquisitor, its not just my stuff that is messed up, the inquisitor Act of War and Primal Fury proc rate changes if i equip different weapons. The damage done by Act of War is based off my stats when it procs, not the inquisitor who cast it.  My 5% boost to Primal Fury does not appear to affect it when its on them, proced 5 times in 2 minutes, with his mythical, as well as a 5 second delay 2 hander.</p><p>I have also checked on test, the display bug is still there, if there has been anything changed to try to fix the problem with it.</p>

<p>Most buffs have always been based on the person they're cast on, not the caster. The display changing based on your stats rather than theirs is the bug, not that it's based on them. Virtually every proc buff works like that, and credits their damage to the person with the buff, not the caster. Some things (prismatic chaos of illusionists, say, or coecer's despotic mind) do work based on the caster, and attribute damage to the caster rather than the target.</p>

<p>so if PoTM with the 4 peice bonus that gives 175 more to it, were to proc on everyone, and the 175 didnt add the damage to the proc, would that not be broken? It has been changed as to how it worked, with no word to the comunity if it is now "working as intended" AA for a proc boost that works on no one but yourself, a damage buff for 3 triggers that you got int gear to boost it now means nothing.  The inquisitor buff sure whatever, it works different for casters then for a melee class slightly, but there was a change to the druid damage shield, to the fury Primal Fury, and since fae fire doesnt do enough damage to matter, maybe i never noticed how that worked, whatever. </p><p>I will keep bugging the devs till they fix it or say that this change was intetnded to make furys even more useless then they are.</p>

<p>Oh, it's definitely broken if AA-based modifiers are only applying to you, like applying the 10% base damage increase to feral or whatever. But you need to be careful about saying things like its their stats that are modifying values of things like fae fire, because that's true for any of them, even things like PotM - things like PotM still use the individual targets' spell crit, int, base damage modifiers, etc.</p>

<p>im soloing with charmed trash, but guess what, zero debuffs, 57-64 can hit for 200 on a crit with debuffs. A normal crap mob will have no resists, having the buffs on me, hits for the amount it says on my hotbar</p>
