View Full Version : Broken quests in Antonica?

Is there a level requirement for these quests or some other requirement I'm missing, or are they broken?

I've finished Dancer's quest A Frontierslady's Task, but she won't give me Battle with the Timberclaws. I've tried speaking to her at level 80 and level 20, and no quest.

Rikantus won't give me Whispers of Fortune, and I've finished his other quests as well as A Calling in the Forest.

And none of the named gnolls will drop any trinkets to start A Gnollish Trinket, even when mentored. I've finished the entire Gnoll Investigations series except for that one.

I was jsut checking out the RIkantis thing too. I like Nek Castle lore and wanted to see what was still left to do. Unfortunbately, as best as I can see, that quest is a lead in to the access quest for Nek Castle, which can also be obtained In Nek as a stand alone, Calling in the Forest. If you do that before getting his quest, you can't get it I got calling in the first while in Nek, so didn't get his...boooo.

Gnollish trinkets is bugged. Send in a petition and mention you did the quest grey. The trinkets won't drop grey and won't drop if you've done the quest already. THe GM had to spawn them for me.

Boooo about Rikantus' quest.

I'll try the petition. Are they supposed to drop during the four Gnoll Leaders quests? I did those grey, which would explain why I didn't get any trinkets.

Since the devs appear to be in the mood to fix old bugs and annoying content-related gaps in the game right now, which is a wonderful and woefully overdue development, would it be possible to make "Whispers of Fortune" accessible and feasible for people who have already completed "Calling in the Forest"? Surely Rikantus is more flexible than seems to be the case. More generally, I can't help but consider it very positive to stamp out these annoying oversights in quest-planning that bedevil the original content, even if the overall impact on the whole is slight. Symbolic value, folks!
