If so, is it very playable? What settings/resolution do you use? What CPU (Core2 Duo, Pentium dual core, ect..)? How much ram? XP, Vista, or Win7? Sorry for all the questions, but I may buy a laptop with this graphics chip soon. Thank you in advance.

I'm running on a laptop

its not the best but It does what I want

What I have is :

Microsoft Windows XP Professional (Build Service Pack 32600)

Intel(R) CPU T2400 @ 1.83GHz

 1022.0 MB ram

GeForce Go 7600 "256 mb"

runs at highest

Thank you for the reply. You have 1gb of ram, and 256mb video, and you say it runs on highest. I assume highest performance. Your video card is better than the intel 4500, according to Tomshardware. Do you group, or raid at all?

I grouped 2 times, both with my wife to help her out

but I just got invited to a quild tonight " which was nice"

and when I entered the guild hall I didn't notice any lag

I'd say 95% of the time I don't get any lag.

when I do It's either from being in a town or I just happen to come across a group of people that

were fighting " happened once in the common lands"

"If you guys are reading this I'm sorry I ran across your fight, I had bad lag"

Other then that Its a great way to play, I can go on the porch and catch the cool breeze.

" highest performance is right and also at 1440 X 900" the video card i have I wish was better for the other stuff I do

but for EQ2 it' great.

I did have a problem at first though ( just remembered)

I used to get the blue screen of death nonstpo when I started, I then found out that if I took the tie and went to the

sound settings and took it off of Acc Hardware I could run the game with no problem. Some reason Windoze likes to set that on default high.

Thank you again. I don't think the intel chip should be much slower than what you have.

That's rather impressive considering what you're working with - I'm glad to hear it's mostly playable!

Be careful with the build in Intel graphics. The 4500MHD may run the game just fine, but I know older versions of the Intel graphics media accelerators were simply unable to run EQ2 at any setting. I bought a laptop with a GMA950, and had to return it for one with NVidia graphics (Geforce go 6100 I think). I know graphics chips have come a long way since then, but I would try and find someone who can confirm that the 4500MHD works before purchasing a laptop.

The integrated graphics chip will be able to run the game but the performance won't be that great. Besides the standard limitations you would expect from an integrated chip, keep in mind that it will use your RAM for graphics processing since it doesn't have dedicated memory. If you choose to go with an integrated chip then make sure you have plenty of RAM, especially if you choose to use Windows Vista/7. Both of those operating systems use a decent chunk of memory and then the graphics chip will be taking even more of that for it's own use. That could result in some serious performance issues.
