I am level 80 with T1 armor, no epic yet. Was wondering what a good AGI % should be for my char?

agi is a stat you can safely ignore.

You can't really ignore it since it is the biggest determiner of our power pool. However you don't need to focus on it or any stat for that matter as there is so little variation in equipment that they pretty much take care of themselves. The only stat you can safely ignore seems to be WIS.

I don't think I've had power issues since desert of flames, and with the % based power drains these days, a smaller power pool is actually beneficial. But yeah, our gear comes with loads of agility on it because the devs apparently think it's worth it still.

Hey, thanks for the help folks. I was concerned because when I was insdpecting my agi statrs, the game tells me I am lower than I should be. So, thazz why I was askin. I will hereforth not worry anymore.

Actually agil is relevant. SoE in their infinite wisdom decided that since agil was the "main" stat for scouts that it would be the modifier for crital mitigation. So it is relevant. If you can get some without compromising your role as a Troub it won't hurt.

I do though encourage all Troub's to petition SoE to change it to Int for us. At the very least to str as most of us really don't care about agil especially if we are raid Troubs.

You gona make AGI determine combat art hit rates or some other such sillyness. How about make wiz control the speed of your call home abilities.

Isn't it too bloody late in the life of this game for a complete revamp again? Just don't ruin us totally and give us 1/4th the crit bonuses when you consolidate stuff please, or you can have my troub for testing purposes Aeralik

AGI is fairly low. STR and STA are by far my two highest stats. (Have to be able to do some damage and need every extra HP to survive all the massive AE's) This almost hints that I will have to look at completely regearing my Troub. That's just not something that sounds all that exciting and will probably cause my Troub to be another dust collecting alt, like my Monk and Conjuror at least until the next expansion when all our gear will be near useless by the time we hit 90.

Every class should have a use for every stat. Some classes may rely on certain stats more than others, but if you can say a certain stat is useless for a particular class, there is a problem.

Intelligence should, in my opinion, be a factor in avoidence and crit/DA chances, as the smarter character is better able to predict what an opponent may do, allowing him to avoid an attack, or land a more powerful blow.

Aeralik's cryptic comments suggest he'll probably be making agility (or stats overall, considering how easy they are to cap) more useful eventually, but given the rate that changes happen it's pretty safe to ignore that for a long, long time.

Who cares since the changes won't go in until SF launches and then we are ALL regearing anyway. He just better make [Removed for Content] sure their itemization is right or then we will all be complaining.

But instead you've created flame bait and have stired the pot a bit for no reason.

Antipaladin wrote:

agi is a stat you can safely ignore.

That is still true for bards reguardless of crit mit/power since bard shard armor is literally bursting with AGI. Like 40+ per piece.
