Weapon Question

<p>The majority of your DPS comes from your auto-attack, so it's very important that you find the right weapons that CAs don't interfere with.</p><p>You want a "mid speed" set of weapons. Not too fast (nothing faster than 3.0) but not too slow (nothing slower than 4.0). Weapons that are too fast make it extremely difficult to fire off CAs without delaying your attacks. Weapons that are too slow mean your auto-attacks tend to be streaky, and can lead to long delays between swings, hurting aggro.</p><p>It's best to dual wield identical delay weapons. It makes it much easier to time your auto-attacks with your combat arts.</p><p>You should also know that your epic weapon is 3 delay, but the vast majority of weapons are 4 delay. That said unless you have access to the <em>very</em> best weapons in the game, your ultimate goal is to find a good 3 delay weapon to dual wield with your epic weapon (They're pretty darn rare too). If you don't have your epic weapon, ideally you want a pair of 4 delay weapons.</p>

<p>As a good guideline... zerker 'epic' weapon has a 3.0 second delay so if you get used to using weapons with a 3 second delay it might help ya when ya hit end game content.</p><p>On my zerker I keep my skills up in all weapons, but the woodworker made fighting batons have been what I primarily use because they have the perfect stats and a 3.0 second delay.  (using wood mastercrafted weapons is a lot cheaper for most tiers than using metal weapons)   Best of all, they added weapon appearance slots so even if you use a crushing weaopn, you can have a nice lookin sword in appearance slot, or whatever floats your boat.</p>
