<p>I am having an issue much like many others are right now. My over head level appropriate quest icons (feathers and books) are not appearing, however the feathers for quests I have out leveled will appear if I check it in ui.</p><p>I am begininng to wonder if they are even reading what my issue is. IN short.. I am missing two graphics a feather and a book. I connect to the game fine.</p><p>This ticket starts off pretty normal.. The two final responses from tech blew my mind.. he was trying to get me to check my internet connection and add the game to my firewall "allow"</p><p>EDITED BY REQUEST</p><table cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td> </td><td width="100%"> </td></tr><tr><td> </td></tr><tr><td> </td><td> </td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td> </td><td align="right"> </td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> </td></tr><tr><td> </td></tr><tr><td> </td><td align="right"> </td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> </td></tr><tr><td> </td></tr><tr><td> </td><td align="right"> </td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> </td></tr><tr><td> </td></tr><tr><td> </td><td align="right"> </td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> </td></tr><tr><td> </td></tr><tr><td> </td><td align="right"> </td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> </td></tr><tr><td> </td></tr><tr><td> </td><td align="right"> </td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> </td></tr><tr><td> </td></tr><tr><td> </td><td align="right"> </td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> </td></tr><tr><td> </td></tr><tr><td> </td><td align="right"> </td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> </td></tr><tr><td> </td></tr><tr><td> </td><td align="right"> </td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> </td></tr><tr><td> </td></tr><tr><td> </td><td align="right"> </td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> </td></tr><tr><td> </td></tr><tr><td> </td><td align="right"> </td></tr><tr><td colspan="2"> </td></tr></tbody></table></td></tr></tbody></table>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>I'm sorry to hear that you had a did not get the correct answer in this case. The problem you're reporting is actually a known issue at the moment. We are hoping that it will be corrected shortly. You can find some additional information in the following thread:</p><p><a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=459373" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=459373</a></p><p>That said, I will need to have the support transcript removed from your post since it is against the forum rules to post them here. Please let me know if you have any questions.</p>

<p>Thank you for at least letting me know it is a known issue. Am I to assume there is no way of fixing it on my end at this time?</p><p>Also am I wrong in assuming the person having me check my connection and firewalls and all that was not even reading what the initial problem is? The fact he is trying to have me check connectivity over two tiny graphics not showing up is mind boggling almost as if he is telling me those two tiny little pictures have to connect completely seperately from the rest of the game. If he was just posting a form response and not reading, this is extremely upsetting.</p><p>PS. Sorry about the transcript.. I was not aware it was a violation.</p>

He already had you delete all of the UI folder so it wasn't a missing UI file. Also, if it was a standard graphics issue then I would expect there to be a black box or some other artifact where the quest icon would have been. He was suggesting that it was a firewall issue while I would have diagnosed it as a possible router issue, but I think he was headed in the most logical direction.</p><p>It's hard to speculate on what should have been done with such a strange issue, though. The only scenarios that make sense in my mind would be a missing UI file, a setting in the UI options that got disabled, or a game bug. He seems to have missed #2 but he doesn't play the game as much as I do.</p><p>Let me know if you have any further questions.</p>
