<p>has anyone else experienced extremely low framerates with this last update??</p><p>before the patch i was getting 30-40 fps, now it wont rise above 12</p><p>nothing has changed on my system and all my other games work fine, leading me to believe its eq2 and not my system.</p><p>i tried setting all my graphics to bare minimum and still get 12 fps</p><p>unable to play now....</p>

To download, click on the Validate button on the main DirectX page.</p><p>2. Once verification completes, you will be allowed to download Direct X. Choose the option to save the file to your Desktop.</p><p>3. <p>There is a known issue in regards to the EQ2 client currently using much more system memory than it should be using currently. If you're already running on a limited amount of RAM - the game may be vying for rescources with any other programs in the background and causing a notible framerate drop.</p><p>There has been a post that a fix is currently being tested for that particular issue, should it be the case. But otherwise - can you post the necessary DxDiag and MsInfo information (instructions here) so we can check a bit further info what you're currently using?</p>
