Refer-a-friend not working

<p>So I used the refer-a-friend link to send my wife an invitation, and she accepted it. She didn't have to download the client though because she's using my computer currently. When I look at my account info under the refer-a-friend program it simply says I sent her an invitation, it doesn't say that she accepted it. She definitely has accepted it, and she's already created a new station account, but I'm not getting credit for it.</p><p>I want to d/l and install on her computer since she's enjoying playing her character, but I'm not gonna bother if I have to tell her to start a new character. I was hoping to PL both of us a bit using the XP bonus from refer-a-friend and I also want the mount.</p><p>So what gives?</p>

<p>Having recently joined an account with the refer a friend, I can tell you that it's veryyyy tricky. When you (in this case your wife) receive the email, you see this image. Note that at the top is a link encouraging you to click here to create a station account. If you click that, you will NOT be linked in through RAF. It's like a new account. You must scroll all the way down to the end and click on <strong>Click here to start your adventure</strong>. Following that link alone will allow you to be connected and get all the benefits.</p><p><img src="http://www.jklm.net/st-auction/images/eq2raf.jpg" /></p>

She agreed to restart, but *I* have to remake her character and level it to 11 so she doesn't have to repeat the starting area. Fine w/ me! Hehehe.</p>
