Annyoing Error

<p>I have just downloaded the Station Launcher, but every time i try to play EQ2 i keep getting a message saying:</p><p>There was a problem decompressing C:/Program Files/Sony Online Entertainment/Installed Games/EverQuestII/lp_tempp/ambxrt.dll.gz Please try again. If the problem persists use the help menu above for more info and help. Station Launcher will try again in 30 seconds.</p><p>So i did that and couldn't find anything, it's starting to get annoying seeing as how i just spent 50 dollars on a game <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>Are you using Windows Vista or Win7?  The error you're describing sounds like a file permissions error.  Basically, the game has downloaded the file but is getting blocked from applying the update.  In most cases you can correct it by following these steps:</p><p>1. Right click on the program launch icon2. Left click on "Properties".3. In the new window that pops up click on the "Compatibility" tab.4. Under "Privilege Level" make certain that the box next to "Run this program as administrator" is checked.5. Click on "Apply" then click on "Ok".6. Right click on the icon and select "Run as Administrator"</p><p>Let us know if the issue persists at that point or if you are not running Vista/Win7.</p>
