WinXP, 4 GB RAM, running 2 clients on this dual core machine.

I can see that the game, depending on what else is running, might run out of memory or the machine at some point might not have enough free memory left when the game wants to allocate more.

What is boggling my mind though is that- both clients always crash simultaneously, but it practically never happens if they are both set to "extreme performance". Setting them both to "very high performance" will make the problem appear.- I have attempted to dual box on four different machines over the past years. Two showed this behaviour, two didn't, and those that did used Intel chipsets. It's been brand new installations of windows from scratch every time.

Is anyone familiar with these problems and can provide some info on how to mitigate the problem?

Are you running both clients through the same C:program fileSony. If you are make another copy and run each account seperately.

Lot of motherboard's have problem's using 4gb memory if not 64bit.It is best that all the memory slot's arnt filled on older board's.
