Who else than SK can offtank Field General Uktap's adds?

<p>TSO means The Shadowknight Odyssee. SKs have been boosted from rubbish to godmode.</p><p>General Uktap seems to be a mob to force a SK into a raid once more. Who else than a SK with the new Grave Sacrament can offtank those adds?</p><p>How else except by Grave Sacrament (= open AE massive dps/rescue when being hit) can you counter an effect that</p><p>1. prevents you taking a target</p><p>2. prevents you doing anything at all</p><p>3. that can not be prevented nor be cured</p>

<p>Blue AoEs, blue taunts still function even if you cannot have a target, also hate gain/transfer. In short SK, zerk, pally, maybe brusier or even guard.</p>

<p>I'm sure its not only SK's that can tank em..</p><p>I have not tried or killed it myself, but they would not make an encounter where you would need a specific class..</p>

<p>Another whine thread I see from somebody that can't figure it out.</p><p>The fact is any AE tank can tank this encounter no problem.  SK, Paladin, and Zerker.  But, any tank in general can tank and there are definitely instances of the ST tanks tanking it as well.  But get this...the AE tanks actually can do it a little easier since they are AE TANKS!!!</p><p>Yep.  There are in fact a couple encounters in this game where it is better off to use an AE tank as the MT.  Its not your fault, RoK maybe caused you to forget that there are a reason why some tanks are better at AE.</p>

Have your enchanters wear T2/T3 boots for the encounter stun proc and have mages wear the encounter stun proc cloak from Manor. Makes it a lot easier for any tank to "tank" the adds when the waves are stun locked.

<p>we've had a swash do it a few times.</p><p>not saying much, but if you think you need a specific tank for the job, your probably over thinking it.</p>

<p>Wow. We have done it with a Pally tank, a Zerker tank, and once with a Monk tank. Same guild same mob 3 differnt tanks FTW. I bet we could do it with our Guard too.</p>
