Frustration

<p>I am an old player returning to the game after a short (two year) absence.  I redownloaded the game and reactivated my account and have spent over 12 hours downloading the updates....and it's still not done?  I went to bed last night and it said there was 3 hours left, I woke up this morning some six hours later and it said there was 5 hours left.</p><p>I restarted the launcher and it said there was an hour and a half left, then proceeded to watch the time increase till now, 12 minutes after I started the launcher, there is over four hours left?   What the frack?  I have a cable modem with over 10MBS download speed, I use Windows XP, and am horribly confused.  Am I ever going to be able to play the game again?</p>

<p>I had the same experience upgrading the game after doing the trial version. When I looked at the files it was downloading, it seemed to be downloading them all twice. I was able to copy a bunch and save time. More recently I reinstalled the game from scratch and didn't have that problem. Maybe it was because I downloaded from scratch, first the station launcher from the web-site and then it did everything. It was frustrating at the time, but the game made it worth it. I wish you luck.</p>
