focus on your spells not your weapon, I was doing 2kdps on my templar in mastercrafted gear with adept 3s. Most solo mobs will barely make it to you if you start a fight at max range. you won't even need to heal.

Just spec smites and spell crit, you will cast very fast and make sure you always have a nuke queued up.

Think plate mage, not tank with heals.

That's about how many AA I had at that level, you can make a good solo build with that. I was surprised how fast I soloed once I had about 100 or so AA.

Definitely do the smite lines, you will see more bang for your buck from smites and spell crits, but don't neglect your melee, you might not see much from it in the beginning but it will blossom. Smites is the only crucial thing for soloing in the Templar line so for now you can get away with only that. After that cleric line INT 448 (4488 if you can swing it, otherwise slowly work up the last ability casting speed), that puts you at 37AA so far. 448 in STA and 448 in AGI, you will probably spec out of AGI and put those points into STR later on, but for now I think the DA on the AGI line is more important, and steadfast will take many more points. That puts you at 59AA so far.

Shadows you can put the 10 points into whatever, I'll assume max power and max health. 69AA so far. Now we get to some juicy stuff. Put that first 5 points into Litany, and now you can play with either using spell litany or melee litany. You will probably see more bang for your buck with spell litany at this level and gear, but play with it. After that you are a bit limited until you can break into 120 points when you can get Flurry, Yaulp and Rebuke which will shoot your melee through the roof. But since you are stuck until 120 and have 69, that means you have 16 left over (assuming my math doesn't suck). I would put 8 into casting speed in INT, and start building out your survival spells, or you can put some points into some of the protective buffs in the 2nd TSO line.

This is purely a solo spec so get yourself an AA mirror and distribute your points differently for healing. I think you have plenty of points to have a pretty good solo spec and just need to pay attention to your gear.

Evilcarrot@Everfrost wrote:

I am 72 with 85 aa pts.
