When Lost Dungeons of Norrath came out in EQ, my head nearly exploded with constant thoughts of what to do next. The reason LDON kept me logging in and people working together and grouping was: You didn't pile up a bunch of shards to spend in multiple ways. If you wanted an augment(adornment) or item from, say, the guk zones, you had to run the guk zones. There were points and they were only good in certain places in some cases and that's the way it was and we LIKED IT.

TSO is great, I am in no way complaining about the current system. But, if at some point, some NPCs went into action and there was a list of things I could earn from a group of content, and only from that group of content, and that was spread across the game world giving me the desire to run zones everywhere for different goals/reasons/rewards, that increases playability 100 fold. Seriously.

Just a thought.

Agreed completely.

Remember all the people clustered around the camps, particularly in BB? It was never so easy to get a group and go do something fun and in relatively small chunks of time. That was a great expansion.
