Hi,

Running Windows 7 x64 build 7100. EQ2 is installed to C:Games and running launcher and the .exe as administrator.

With that said, when I login and either go straight into game with a selected character or login to character select I will crash upon "Receiving Zone Information" with the error:

Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: EverQuest2.exe Application Version: 1.0.0.1 Application Timestamp: 4aaea915 Fault Module Name: EverQuest2.exe Fault Module Version: 1.0.0.1 Fault Module Timestamp: 4aaea915 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 0028cea0 OS Version: 6.1.7100.2.0.0.256.1 Locale ID: 2057 Additional Information 1: 1f1c Additional Information 2: 1f1cdcced1a4e1ed1802b9aca6279e19 Additional Information 3: 26fd Additional Information 4: 26fd076000f641291a85a7c01a5c96e6

What I did notice when I ran the launch was, it downloaded 0 files. I even did a full file scan and 0 files downloaded. I'm a bit suspicious a whole GU has no changes to the client files so I suspect the everquest2.exe is out of sync with the server.

If this is the case, any idea why I can't download the updated files?

Zad.

Edit: Spelling

Was a bit of a whoopsie on my part. I came home assuming the GU on the Euro servers had gone live and prior to running EQ2 I updated profit which downloaded the new version of the journal xml files. As soon as they were removed it was fine. Here's to hoping the GU goes in tomorrow
