Exessive racial triats

<p>Ok I have to sound off on this one. Are there ANY races out there that didnt just get Tracking for free? Yet again something that made a race / class special has been negated. Are Guards gonna get stealth soon too? Where will it end.</p>

<p>The new racials are a bit awkward, but it is a direct result to the level of balancing that was made into the requirements.</p><p>I personally would almost favor removing racial bonuses all together and going with a character / archtype / class system similar to AA.  The racial system as it is comes off as very vanilla.</p><p>I'm not sure with the new race system I chose anything that wasn't a passive ability, so in playing my characters and engaging with the game, there is little cognitive recognition of my race factoring in.</p><p>The only thing that registered to me about my race is, I have more hp than someone who chose a non-tank race for thier tank. </p>

The great majority did not.</p>

<p>This is what balancing gets you:  bland "choices" for everyone that in the end either mean nothing or are the same anyway.</p>

<p>I hear ya, but also remember when you could glide only being a Fey, then all of a sudden DE's and I believe Erudites got glide. Why? Didnt make sense then, and it still doesnt for me.</p>

<p>It just shows you that not everyone will be satisfied all the time.</p><p>Me personally, i was a bit sad at the loss of 5 percent run speed for my Fae, but i guess as a tradeoff i was quite pleased with the 15 percent run speed while invised.</p><p>Just remember that mmo's change. Not always in a pleasing way, and try not to let those changes get you down.</p><p>If you can't get over them, evaluate our enjoyment of the game and if it isn't at the desired level then it is time to find a new game.</p>
