<p>I get this as game tries to update and cant get it to work. Any suggestions?</p><p>There was a problem moving C:Program Files (x86)Sony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest IIlp_tempEQ2VoiceService.exe_delta_8123_7.patched to C:Program Files (x86)Sony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest IIEQ2VoiceService.exe.</p>

<p>If you are runnign Vista or Windows 7 are you right clicking and Run As Administrator?</p>

Don't install games to your program files folder. Vista adds all sorts of whacky crap to the security in there. Make a new folder in the root of C (or better a different hard drive) and install games there.

Make a new folder in the root of C (or better a different hard drive) and install games there.</blockquote><p>Remember also that the exact security model that is used in Vista is also used in Windows 7.</p><p>The virtual data directory and virtual registry entries work well in 95 percent of the application installations, the problem comes in when there is a lot of interaction between the real and virtual entries, it can get out of sync and start having issues, the situation has been addressed in SP2 for vista, but it is not perfect, windows 7 can expierence the exact same issues.</p>

Except when I run as administrator it still doesnt work. I also set it to run in compatibilty mode windows xp service pack 3 and it still doesnt work.. I'm allowed to use everything, no denies. Any help?</p><p>I'm running windows 7 on my new laptop.</p>
