How exactly do they work? They are activated manually but are they set on an automated timer for 3 days or are they turned off manually as well? Also, if they are indeed automated, is it true that they randomly +/- time to/from the suspension or is all that set manually by the Game Master?

The system doesn't increment on an exact timer, though. Instead, the system will update overnight between midnight and 6am(usually).

Let's say you were suspended for 3 days at 2pm in the afternoon. The timer wouldn't actually start until the system updates overnight. The system update would then need to occur 3 more times before the suspension is automatically released.

Please let me know if you have any questions about the process.
