Taken from patch notes

EQII PLAYERS

Critical damage will once again be tracked properly.

Can this be elaborated on for our understanding please? I'm guessing it has something to do with the way critical damage/bonus is being mitigated by crit mit. Maybe someone in the know can shed some light?

Thanks.

The way we calculated criticals changed late last year. This caused a problem with the EQ2 Players tracking code in that it got the non critical values and not the acutual values you saw in the logs. This was fixed so that now if you critically attack eq2 players will update properly with that value.

I think for the rankings of eq2players.com it means ctirical hits will be tracked. Example: My SK melee is somewhere aroud 3k damage on eq2players but I know I've critted for 4k+

Ahh ok, sorry I took it as a literal change to "EQ2 players" as in the players of EQ2. So this change has no bearing on in-game calculations rather the way those figures are being tracked on the website, correct?

Thanks for clarifying.
