View Full Version : Can't get AA to work :(

<p>I'm using an ATI Radeon 4870, running on windows XP SP3.</p><p>-I tried to make a EQ2.ini files and putting the "rr_aa_blit 1" into it.</p><p>-I also tried putting "rr_aa_blit 1" into both eq2_default.ini and eq2_recent.ini.</p><p>-I also tried putting all of those 3 files in read-only .</p><p>How do I get the AA to work?</p>

<p>Im not sure if it's your problem, but maybe it could help. On a french forum someone got a problems with AA during trial (he was lvl10+ but didn't get any AA from quests or anything, stuck on 0 AA).  He set the options on default, and everything works thereafter.</p>

<p>Since he mentioned his GPU, I don't think that's what he meant. </p><p>I think the OP is talking about aa (short for Anti-Aliasing).</p>

<p>You have to hard set it in the ATI controlpanel too uncheck the application control chechbox and set it manuly on the slider.</p>

I run the game in fullscreen mode, but I still don't get any anti-aliasing. Fake edit: I manage to force AA on World of warcraft and other games just fine, but EQ2 seems to refuse for some reasons :/
