Hello all..I'm playing this game from the beta stage and by now I have three accounts..everything was going fine until I had to change my credit card (my bank change it from Visa to Mastercard)...I put all the new card data in the account system and everything seemed to be fine. Now one of my account has been closed because the system tell me that there is a problem with my credit card. I fear is something related with the "Securecode" feature of my mastercard...the site should ask me the "magic word" but nothing happens and the card gets refused . I had the same problem with my main account (the one I'm using to write now) two weeks ago...I tried a lot of times and at the end I manage to resubscribe...this time it seems it doesn't want to work ...pls help me in giving money to SOE!

Greetings,

It would be hard to say what is happening here without looking at the account directly. Feel free to PM me with the account name and I'll take a look, but contacing our regular support would be your best bet. The following link contains all of our contact information.

http://help.station.sony.com/cgi-bi...p?p_faqid=10404

Thanks Daniel..I've sent you a PM..it's difficult for me to call the CS by ohone because I live in Italy and I don't speak english too well .

Strange thin is that with every other online buy, the card works without any problem

Edit: I contacted my bank..they said everything shoul be fine with the card and in these days they didn't receive any request of payment by Soe...I fear it seems a SOE server problem

Quick update: It seems that today the SOE server hampsters, after some rest, were running again in the right direction I manage to complete the payment for my other two accounts....naturally I didn't do anything different from the past attempts...anyway..I did it ...I hope it will not happen the same every month .

Cya

Tried to renew my subscription today and found the system couldnot accept my cards, which both worked perfectly in the past. Have asked my bank, and it replied it didnot receive varifing requests from SOE. So please check what happened. I have said good bye to my guild mates though, in case it does need days to fix.

I wanted to go from a monthly sub to 3 or 6 months but wont take my card, 10 minutes later i use the same card on file to purchase station cash. So i doubt it's the card.

Thinking great soe is working again i go back to update the sub and wont except the card, so i canceled the account and try again but still wont take the card, again about an hour later i wanted stuff on with station cash and the card worked Yet again.

In both of the cases mentioned above it sounds like a problem with the $0 authorization system. The law changed this year and we are now required to use a $0 authorization system instead of the previous standard $1 auth. This is causing a problem since we were required to change by the end of July, but the banks are not required to comply until the end of October. That is causing an incompatibility between our system and some banks.

While that sounds like the issue in this case, it would be impossible to say without looking at the specific account. If you haven't already, please contact us though phone, e-mail, or chat support so that we can look at your account and see the reason for the decline. The following link contains our contact information:

http://help.station.sony.com/cgi-bi...p?p_faqid=10404

I checked on that ticket and it appears that Jamie is already taking the appropriate action. His latest response was sent out around 20 minutes ago. Please continue speaking with him to get this issue resolved. Let me know if you have any questions.

Don't know what you have done to let it happened, but i can get the subscription now while it became closed, though the system did not pass my credit card 20 hours or more ago while it was still in the extended 3-day from CSR.

Thank you and CSR Jamie. Whatever you have done in this 20 hours may be also useful to similiar situations
