Hi all,

I just started again after playing another one to lvl 40 a while back. Back then I found it far to boring to continue lvling solo, so I deleted it, although I did like the class for the rest (wards rule ). But now my guild kinda misses a MT shammy, so created one again. So now I'm wandering if there is a nice DPS AA setup? I know we are never going to be top or even middle parsers, but a bit more dps while solo-ing will be nice

For soloing while leveling get AGI line for the melee crits and STR line for the dogs damage/wards/AoE immune. Put the rest of the points in INT line for spell crits. Or if you want to level as a Mystic for full melee spec.

You'll find your damage will be worst against groups until you get the green AE aphotic touch (32). It'll still be horrible until you get your blue AE, Defile (65). By the time you get the T2/T3 set bonus(wards cause reactive damage), your 2k dps in "dps mode" will feel god-like lol.

When I was leveling I found the Hierophant's Crook (By Hook or By... HQ) very useful against bit groups of weak mobs, or non-linked encounters.

Int line (max the spell crits then stop) is very useful as the last poster said also.

Good luck.

For DPS, is the AGI end line ability worth the points? Does it increase our dps for a nice amount or is it just a waste for the 6 points you put in the rest of the line?

I think it is. Especially if you get some haste.
