View Full Version : Can't access EQ2, or my account..

<p>Today I have been unable to enter EQ2. It keeps telling me invalid name or password. (which I checked it and they are right).</p><p>So I came here to the forums and I see others having some similar but not quite the same problems.</p><p>So then I try to go check my account to see if its inactive (like maybe my payment didnt go thru or something).</p><p>So I enter my name and password and it says invalid name or password again (and yes I again made sure they were right).</p><p>So.. I tell it to resend me my password... it says I have already had it sent to me and need to wait another 24 hours before I can do that again.... it told me this the FIRST time I tried to get my password btw.</p><p>Any ideas what is going on here?</p><p>P.S. I was not able to login into the forum and thus couldnt post on the forums... so I made a new forum / station name so I could post this.</p><p>Thanks</p>

<p>Following up to my post yesterday.</p><p>Still cant access EQ2. (invalid name or password and I am sure im putting it all in correctly)</p><p>Still cant access my station account, or login to these forums. (Invalid user name or password again i know im putting it in correctly)</p><p>And with this second account I made so I could login and post on the forums ... I cant send PM's</p><p>Any assistance would be appreciated ! </p><p>Thanks!!</p>

<p>Thank you TSR-DanielH</p><p>I have begun that process, the initial phone call has been made to Sony and they sent me an email with my next step.</p><p>I am not taking inventory of my losses.... as best I can,.... I didnt keep track of things that my 3 to 5 year old toons had LOL (i have to laugh right now or I will cry)</p><p>What I am hoping is that you guys have some kind of record (like a roll back or something) that will help. They also have access to logs that should be able to show them a list of items that were sold to a vendor. Regardless of how they do it, most of the cases I have been involved with have resulted in the items/coin getting restored to the account. In my experience they only have trouble if the compromise happened a long time ago or if the account has been compromised several times in the past.</p><p>Let me know if you still have any questions.</p>

<p>I had left my in game /petition window open for a while as I was making sure I had all the mising items listed etc. When I finished and hit send (or whatever the choice was). It asked me to Login to my station account again. After doing so I saw no confirmation that my /petition was indeed sent.</p><p>How can I check to see if it was indeed sent? I hate to send something again if the one was sent and I was just not given some kind of notice.</p><p>thanks</p><p>G-452</p>

Does it give you an error message or is it just not showing up anymore?</p><p>Either way, it will probably need to be handled by the in game team since I doubt it's a technical issue.</p>

I really dont want to loose all that. Im sure y'all can figure it out... its right there it just doesnt recognise my restored toon as the house owner.</p><p>P.S. I went to check on it with one of my alts who was made trustee or whatever so I could pay upkeep etc with that toon as well. When I put "Frantic" into the VISIT section it doesnt show "Frantic" at all.</p><p>G-452</p>

<p>Is Frantic the name of one of your characters? It sounds like you house permissions got reset somehow. If you haven't tried logging in with the actual owner of the house then you'll probably want to try that. Hopefully when logging in with that character you will have a sufficient access to change permission levels.</p><p>If that doesn't work then the GMs will probably need to change it from their end. Let me know if you have any trouble getting that through.</p>

If the character was restored from some kind of save then it's possible that the permission levels didn't get transferred over correctly. I'm pretty sure the GM's would be able to reset them to the correct levels or at least give Frantic full ownership so that you can reassign the access levels from your end. If you haven't responded to their petition already, please do so and let them know about the situation. Let me know if you need my assistance at all.</p>

And I got an email from SOE saying someone purchase something. I know I didnt. And no one else plays on my account but me. It is too early to call or live chat with SOE they wont open for another 3 hours. Hoping to get some help on the forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated.</p>
