Cannot connect to login server

<p>Hello,</p><p>After the patch on 9/15/09, I logged in and played EQ2.  I camped my character to go to another character, and now I'm getting they #1,#2,#3, etc. etc. attempts to log into the server (very rapidly) and finally it ends in "Could not connect to a login server, the server may be busy; please try again in a few minutes". </p><p>I have not had this type of problem before.  Please look into it.  I have rebooted my system and even tried to log in from another system, only to get the same results.</p>

<p>Same here...and I'm currently logged in on 2nd account, so it's not the server itself. I tried logging my second account in, and log-in servers are down it seems</p>

<p>I haven't been able to log in at all from either of my 2 accounts; getting the same message as mentioned previously.</p><p>Knowing the servers went down briefly almost 2 hours ago, I did check the server status at EQ2Players first, and according to the site, all servers are up - I guess it's just the login portion? I tried to bypass that as well - didn't work.</p>

I tried to bypass that as well - didn't work.</p></blockquote><p>You cannot bypass the login servers -- you can bypass the patcher, but you still login via the login server (and then I believe there is also some interaction with it each time you zone).</p><p>Read a book for half an hour and see if it's fixed, nothing you can really do client-side.</p>

<p>Yeah...once the update was done, I was able to log on...and had been playing for about an hour. I went to camp to a different toon on 2nd account, and that's when I wasn't able to log in again. I'm still playing on 1st account currently...so it has to be log-in servers</p>

<p>Cannot login as well.</p><p>This is how it happens:</p><p>I can login the launcher - this works!</p><p>But then, when the game launches and the shadow odyssy picture comes up, then a popup message states that the login servers may be busy ...</p><p>I am trying to log into Runnyeye btw.</p>

<p>Just tried to login again.  Now it comes with a second login screen that asks for my password again.  But, then goes to the same login message..."trying to login to server #5, 6, 7, 8......</p>
