Not to be rude or anything... have you actually read Calberak's Guide to inquisitor? There you will find alot of useful information, and among all that info you will find some sugested builds for inquisitors.

It is that pinned thread, 2nd from the top

i dont understand this

The Battle Cleric:The greatest special of the Battle Cleric are his transformation of attack spells to combat arts through achievements. He also works more on his melee skills then his casting skills. The reach this goal he starts his careerer by skilling the Battle Cleric line inside the Inquisitor (EOF) Tree. After that he tries to reach the 100% melee crit of the STA line inside the Cleric tree (KOS). After that he has the basics covered and gained quite some power in melee. If you think about soloing your way up this is the path to choose.Virtues: It is a much easier to increase your damage by following this path, than as a Full Caster. As the CA scale with your level you only need to buy 2/3 of your spells while leveling. CAs are fast to cast, which makes it easier to throw them in while healing.Flaws: The Full Caster may heal a little bit better. If you must stay at range due to AE your DPS will suffer.WHAT IS THE INQUISITOR EOF TREE?? how much i put in there before i start the cleric section at 4/4/8 <<<< and does that mean using the first 3 circles of each tree? DO i start the cleric tree first *the ones where the circles go straight down** the other one (inquisitor) has them scattered at angles and straight down. DO i fill every section?

the battle cleric line in the EoF AA (aka Inquisitor) is the ones that is called xxxx strike (there are 5 of them) and the end ability is the actual ability that gives you battle cleric. (invocation strike, Writhing Strike, Strike of flames, Litany Circle and strike of corruption... end ability is called: battle cleric).

There are some that suggests taking 448 in STA first (100% melee crits) and then take the CA's, and then there are other that say you should first take the CA's (3 aa's in each strike to get them all) then take the STA line and then complete the battle cleric line.

Look at the ascii picture that is made in that pinned thread, it shows you the various inquisitor line builds. And remember, there are no such thing as "this you must do to be this or that". Experiment, find out what is good for you! Everything in that guide is just suggestions!

Grimfist already wrote the most important info. I tried all three kinds: - Melee Crit 1st - 4 CAs at 3 1st then Melee Crit - 4 CAs at 5 1st + Battle Cleric Endskill then Melee Crit And the last one worked best for me.

Any of the "bubbles" that makes you continue to choose from these:

invocation strike, Writhing Strike, Strike of flames, Litany Circle and strike of corruption

Remember, invocation strike, Writhing Strike, Strike of flames, Litany Circle and strike of corruption are all part of the battle cleric! These are the Combat Arts

If you mouse over an AA in the Inquisitor tree you will see that each one has a category. We are talking about the "Battle" category. It starts with the 2nd AA from the right (Invocation Strike). The main CAs you get are the 4 "Strike" AA in this line. You can even get the CA conversion of a Spell before you get the spell as the are actually independent abilities that just share their reuse timer. If you max out all these AA you have spend enough points to unlock the Battle Cleric endline AA, which you can then buy for 1 point. Below is a possible way to go, that I perfer: -3- 1-1 -0- -3- 1-3 -1- -3- 1-5 -5- -5- 5-5 -5- --- -1-

I suggest going Battle Cleric line first as well ( i have tried both ways first)

This is why:

1. Your melee attacks are free (as someone stated above) so you dont have to worry about buying a new upgrade.

2. At low levels the difference between Crit and non crit is so insignificant in melee auto attacks (which is all you would be using for 17 AA points) that its not worth losing out on those 17 points spent in getting melee attacks... The same amount of points that you just spent on getting 100 crit melee, that just allowed you to auto attack with junky T2/T3 MC weapons at 40 crit instead of 20 non crit... could be spent getting 4 melee attacks and nearly the Endline Battlecleric line for much higher DPS.

Of course you want to get 100 melee crit, but whats the point in getting that until you have melee attacks to actually crit. Auto attack is only going to be high at high tiers where your weapon is uber...

Disruption and focus is low at that level, and you certainly wont have Steadfast yet, so you will be casting on mobs which will resist a high number of times and be inturrupted on attacks much higher at low levels.... so melee attacks are much more efficient... even with the higher parry / miss you get... its still better then resists / inturrupts / low damage of spell attacks at that level.

It's simple quit making it complicated.

Put your first AA point in Yaulp (top icon under the Cleric tab)

Under the Inquisitor tab take the Battle line (hover mouse over each icon to see which are in the Battle category) continue filling out that category until you can take Battle Cleric the bottom icon in the Battle category

Once you have that go to the Cleric tab and take the Stamina line 4 - 4 - 8 to get 100% melee crit.

1. Yaulp 1pt

2. Battle cleric 21pts 22

3. 100% crit 16 pts 38

4. double attack (agility line) 16 pnts 54

5 shadow line for the melee buff, forget name 69

Maybe you wanna put a little more in battle cleric to get more CAs, you also can go 448 in the str line for the damage proc. There's also a few more thigns in the TSO line for dps, especially the one that procs the flurry.
