OK, so I was unsure if I should be posting it here or in a different forum; so, if this is in the wrong spot I would appreciate it if a mod could move it.

Now onto the question: I'm looking at getting back into EQ2, but I don't want to spend $15 to reactivate my account and end up not liking it or even liking it but getting gipped out of not using the RAF to get the expansions for free. So, is there any way to get the free trial onto my existing account, and if I did reactivate my account, would I get the expansions for free just as I would have if I had gone with the RAF/Free Trial method? It seems rather unfair that a long-time subscriber would have to go back and buy each expansion for their account after having payed $200 to SOE already when a brand new player would get all expansions + 14 days for free.

Anyways, any light anybody can shed on these questions would be greatly, greatly appreciated. I loved the game back when I was playing it, but many things change. I would love to give it another shot and see if I still enjoy the game.

RAF is for brand new accounts only, you have to be invited by a current subscriber for RAF and create a brand new account from the invitation email. Add to the fact you will still have to purchase the latst expansion, raf does not include it

2. you don;t have to go back and buy every expansion, purchase the latest and it includes all the previous

3. called marketing, all companies offer better incentives to new customers then to existing customers

Greetings,

As Wingrider mentioned, the most recent expansion includes all of the previous expansions. Since the RAF doesn't include TSO by itself, it essentially costs the same amount to get the account up to current. Beyond that, we also had a promotion last year that granted all of the expansions up to ROK on inactive accounts. If your account has been inactive for any significant amount of time then it's possible that you have all of those features as well. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
