I recently picked up EQ2 again. About a week ago I renewed my sub. I asked my BF if he would play with me. I payed for the game for him and payed for his sub and THEN found out about the recruit a fridn thing. Is there any way to get the credit for it retroatively? Both accounts are on MY credit card and his account recurs 2 days after mine, it's pretty obvious that this is the case.

Please don't say the only way is to cancel his account and redo it, he's already level 30. >.<

I have some semi-bad news for you. I had an issues that resulted in the RAF account not properly synching with the parent account, even though I went through the RAF process. CS was unable to link the accounts post creation. I already had a 35 ranger on the RAF account, but had to close it and repeat the process.

The good news is, it only takes a couple of days to get a new toon to 70+ with the major exp boost. I ended up going with a dirge vs the ranger and had him in T1 shard armor in less than 3 weeks. This was amazingly fast leveling. (I am a very casual player. others would consider this slow)

It's a bit of a bummer, but the impact isn't that great....

Yeah, thats what I've heard as well, you may have to deal with losing the 2nd account and starting over to get the RAF bonuses.

Perhaps they've since found another way around that, so good luck to you.

Is there a way to transfer a character to another account? If I got a RAF account and paid to transfer his character... If so, how much would that cost?

I think there is a potion you buy from SC store and use.. costs like $25.

You can do account-to-account transfers for $25, but you a) have to go through support to do it (you can't use the automated way) and b) the accounts have to be exactly the same owner.
