I have and 8800GTS, and I have tried a couple different sets of drivers, but I can't seem to figure this one out.

I have a problem where there is a white outline around NPC's, nodes, and certain opjects when I have the complex shaders on. The border is more obvious in certain areas with certain backgrounds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'll post pics. The first pic is without complex shaders, and the second pic is with. Check out the difference with the NPCs.

I think this is similar to what's happening in this post. I thought it had gone away (along with the shimmering shadows) but it seems the thing is back.

Just a little update on my situation. I have played around with the nvidia control panel and, have come to the conclusion that I only get these white outlines with AA enabled through the control panel and complex shaders are on.

note: I have put the AA code line in my eq2.ini file, and I have shadows turned off. I also have vista 64

I did manage to make the lines less obvious with some tweaking so I'm a little bit more happy. My current nvidia control panel settings for EQ2 are:

Antialiasing-gamma correction:Off Mode:override AA:4x transparency:multisampling Conformant: Use OpenGL

Hopefully a fix is in the works?
