Which stat should I focus on the most? If I am a melee-inq? I mean, I know STR is useful for our attacks but I'm worried I won't be able to survive If my heals are like crap since my INT wont be so high..

So with that in mind, should I just stick with the Vanguard armor that gives STR/STA/AGI to max out my dps or should I go with the Devout armor that gives STR/INT/STA to balance out my heals/dmg.....

I'm also on a pvp server..

Thanks!

For melee you want STR, some STA so you can live, WIS is so so, get more if you have power issues, AGI is almost impossible to get to any descent value, INT is for your spell damage and dot damage, don't worry about INT.Your heals will be the exact same amount with 100 INT or 500 INT.

Oh wow, well I was told wrong lol =)

That's cool, I'll probably go with the vanguard armor for STR/STA/AGI+STR/STA/AGI weapon and STR/AGI hex dolls..and probably get wis/int/sta for my jewelery and a symbol for more wis/int/sta. =)

Another question however..I'm guessing crushing is our must have maxed skill for our melee attacks? If so, what kind of weapon should I get in the crushing catagory? I hear a 50/50 between 2-handers and 1 hand/sheild so I'm not sure.. also, whatever I need, should i get a war hammer...club..etc? Also, will upgrading our Spell version of our CA version upgrade the CA one in any way? If not, Is it really neccessary to even get upgrades for the spell version?

Thanks!

I would recommend a 4 delay 1 hander so you can get used to that speed for when you use your epic. as for a 2 hander you can go with a 4 - 6 second delay and be ok. Slow weapons allow you to cast spells and use combat arts without missing swings.

When choosing a weapon best thing is to look at the delay and the max damage on it as you will most likely be at or near 100% melee crit depending on your aa build. to figure out if a weapon is better than another weapon divide the max damage of the weapon by it's delay and look for the higher number. For example if you have a 5 delay weapon that does 500 max damage that would be a 100 rating. or if you have a 4 delay weapon with a 440 max damage that would be 110 rating so that would be the better weapon. Don't trust the ratings the weapons have on them when you inspect them, they can be misleading.
