patch problem turned into a bigger i don't know what kind of problem?

<p>so i went to log in yesterday and it had a patch to dl so i let it go and went to bed. When i got up i got this message : This application has failed to start because mss32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. I've tried replacing that file in the everquest 2 folder and ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and the message is back <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> help asap would be much appreciated i have a 3 day weekend from school and had planned on having my eyeballs glued to the screen for those days!!!</p><p>Thanks</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>Besides having that file in the Everquest 2 folder, there is usually a copy in the WindowsSystem32.  That might be the file that is missing.  Also, make sure to restart your computer after adding that file and before trying to load the game.</p>
