I've already tried disabling the voice chat to no avail, I double checked various drivers an all are up-to-date, all Windows Vista updates have been installed, no issues with any other programs (I can play Vanguard for 10+ hours and never have an issue on either system), fresh full install on both systems approximately a month ago.

Any suggestions on where to look next?

Thanks in advance!

The problem posted is persisting after a complete reinstall of directX and the nvidia drivers on both systems.

Once again, it has happened both with voice enabled and without but seems to happen more frequently when voice is enabled. Since the initial post, I've received no support on the issue.

Any assistance or suggestions would be appreciated as would a simple reply from a TSR that this is being reviewed.

Thanks!

Edit: I also wanted to note that the initial post was 9 days ago.

that looks more like a port issue then a graphics related issue. I believe Rothgar posted a list of the ports that need to be forwarded for the system either here or over on the voice chat forums, will see if I can locate it

As a experiment try putting this in the eq2.ini

#voice chatcl_vivox_use_service 0

For troubleshooting purposes, please uninstall any custom or 3rd party UI and use only the default user interface. It is also possible that one or more files in your EverQuest game directory may have been corrupted due to a failed patch or update.

Try deleting the following files, then repatch EQ2.

cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.ini

You will also need to delete any character specific files.
