I've been helping a friend who is leveling up a new Templar. In researching AA builds for Templars I've not really found any good, simple suggestions to go with. So I've taken what information I have been able to find from various locations, and what I have learned from my Inquisitor and came up with these two alternative cleric achievement point allocation suggestions. I'm sure there are a lot more experienced clerics out there who may offer better suggestions than these. If you do, please reply and share your build and why you use it. My goal with posting this is to help out new clerics or those who'd like a fresh perspective on their AA choices.The first is what I've called a General Purpose build. If you are going to do a mix of some grouping and some soloing I think this build is your best bet. Allocate points as indicated working down in columns rather than across in rows. I'd work first on completing the INT line. If you tend to do more soloing than grouping I'd say go down STR second. If you tend to do more grouping than soloing do down STA second.<img src="http://img2.imageshack.us/img2/9929/generalpurposeaa.png" width="642" height="483" />The next build is what I've called a Utility build. This is a bit better if you are going to mainly group or have your eye on trying to raid. To use this build you must equip a shield. Two-handed weapon users need not apply! Put Shield Ally on the tank in your group. When timers indicate that a major AOE might be going off soon, drop Holy Shield on yourself and be ready to keep the MT alive! This tactic has allowed me to stay in the thick of a fight rather than joust out with most of the other healers. (Think: Imzok's Revenge AOE Sebilisian Torrent in The Protector's Realm.)<img src="http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/215/utilityaa.png" width="641" height="481" />This is not supposed to be an end all be all guide for hard core raiders. Imho, if you're getting Shield Ally, you should also get 8 points in Battle Fervor (Agi3). Get rid of 4 points in Divine Castigation (Int2).

I'm still stuck on figuring out how you are going to get 71 points in the cleric tree?

I looked at the Cleric tab on my Inquisitor and saw the max point allocatable was 71. I too thought it was 50 points max allocatable up to adventure level 70 at which point it goes up to 70 points max allocatable.Obviously 71 is more than 70 so either my eyes deceived me or they don't count the obligatory point in Yaulp. I'll double check my screen when I get home.

Im sure the DR for your group on both specs would outweigh the extra spell crit or the extra "damage" done by the INT line attack...I likeSTR 4/4/6/8/2STA 4/4/4/8INT 4/4/7/8/2DR and Steadfast are very nice and you still get your heal crit in there and on your first build you have to have 22 points in STR line to get Steadfast, you only have 20 + 2 for Steadfast...
