Also just told me it could not find world Najena..lol

Well, given that it's 9:30 AM eastern time on a Tuesday... which means 6:30 AM Pacific time...

They are likely doing the weekly hotfix. Try again in ~30 mins. (IE after 10 AM eastern / 7 am pacific).

And now 6am pacific is their usual start time (it used to be 7am pacific) and the patches almost always run an hour. They don't usually announce every single tuesday hotfix on the forums... they tend to announce either longer patches, or patches that aren't at the usual tuesday time.

eq2players network status page says all servers are up, but neither my husband nor i can log in to befallen. is the network status premature or is the connection server not quite up yet? both ours runs through connection servers up to number 9 twice before we get the cannot connect servers may be busy message. been trying for 20 mins now.

edited to add-- issue resolved

Greetings,

Yes, it appears there was a hotfix this morning that required a brief server downtime. It should be finished at this point so let me know if you are still experiencing an issue.

If that doesn't correct the issue then it is probably a firewall problem. Open the exception list for the firewall and delete any entries for EQ2, Everquest 2, or launchpad. Then start the game again(by right clicking and selecting 'run as admin' and select 'allow' whenever prompted.

Let us know if the issue persists at that point.
