I was logged onto testcopy server this morning to check out the new house layouts. I think they are absolutly terrific. Well, all but the qeynos five room. It is just a little too long and plain compaired to the freeport version which has a neat little stone nook at one end. Anyway, thats not why I'm posting. I was curiouse as to when the item count in the houses is going to increase. I wanted to know if the Maj house is going to be upped from 300 items up to 600 items and if the other houses are getting their increase as well? I'm only wondering because when I clicked on the door it was still the original item counts. Also, may wanna do somthing with the loading screens as you zone in and out. A one room qeynos inn is no longer a one roomer.

They mentioned elsewhere that the bug fix for added item count on all houses should be with the next push to Test. Keep an eye out for Test Patch Notes.

The room itself is fine, could certainly be better, but the placement surprised me. The room has nothing under it, so basically the room is just hanging off of the side of the house, which seems unusual. Maybe it's being supported by stilts?

I'd love if they extended it down to the first floor and then added a basic staircase down (but with out any railings that might get in the way of folks' designs). Then we'd have a much taller room to play with, even though the revamped room is nice already.

Anyone know if the bug where the item count increase did not occur on houses was fixed? As of last nite, I know my 5 room with item expander was still at the 600 limit, wanted to know if that has since increased?

One or two people reported seeing an increase in item count last night after the patch.

However, on a spot check this m*rning, homes are back to their old item limit once again, with zero increase in item capacity. (Examples are Willow Wood Inn rooms still at 100 count, Irontoes East (NQ) status inn rooms still at 200 item count, etc.)

So, we're back to wondering how much capacity is going to be added to the homes. (Folks were reporting +100 across the board other than Aerie Ilka last night, but the fact that all of that seems gone today means it may have been an oops).

Correction, Kelethin seems to have the item count increase already in place. Qeynos and Freeport do not. I'm not going to run in more circles checking the other housing types, since it looks like it just isn't all in place yet.

One thing to note in Kelethin is that the item count increase appears to be 100 across-the-board other than Aerie Ilka, which only got a 50-item increase. (This location has always been an odd duck, being expensive for a 1-room, but having an item count of 150 instead of 100 ... now it is an expensive 2-room that is basically a starter inn room with a higher price tag due to location)

Yea I went home for lunch and checked TestCopy and my 5-room(er now 6-room) in S Qeynos and its still at the 600 limit - 500 +100 using dimensional pocket expander. So, is it because of using the dimensional pocket expander that it still isn't upping the limit or has it just not been implemented for all house types yet.

Ya know, im a dork, I should just visited a 5 room there to see what its limit was at :/ Well, first thing Ill check after work

Aerie Ilka also has a third slot for vault and vendor, along with the (formerly??) +50 item count.

So a couple perks to go with the better location and justify the additional rent.

Hopefully they'll restore the +50 item count over and above the "standard" or "newbie" housing! *pleads politely*

Little more poking around - my house at 5 Erollisi on Testcopy still has not seen an item increase. House item limit is 600 atm - this is the original 500 plus the use of a dimensional pocket expander adding an additional 100. I tried to see if I could gauge other houses, but I just can't tell if they have received one or not :/ Of'course, I could never tell if they used a dimensional pocket expander anyway

So the question becomes this:

Has anyone seen an item increase on a 5-room Qeynos house that has used a dimensional pocket expander? Inquiring Halflings wanna know

I checked out the other homes that I could (quite a few booted me out as soon as I entered them) and they were all 600 max, too. But of course, I have no idea if they expanded their item size... the item count was in bright green, so prehaps that indicates using the expander?

I visited a 3 vault house in S Qeynos also, and it was only a count of 300 max. That's leaning toward the belief that Qeynos housing still has not received an increase.

The Silver Leaf Inn in Kelethin was at 200 item count max.

Hey everyone

The limit will be increased by 100 for every home out there rest assured. Some of the files were updated and made it to Test it looks like, and others were a bit late in getting updated but they should all make it to Test soon. If you don't see an increase, or an improper increase by early next week, then post again mentioning it or PM me or Domino.

As for what's beneath the new room in Qeynos (or Freeport for that matter)... who knows! When we were deciding where to add rooms, it was immediately apparent that it'd be difficult to make them 'fit' in either cities 5room homes because they are overall a very cubicly stacked layout. Mixed with the desire to disrupt current layouts as little as possible, I placed the rooms where I did. Trust me - I too was thinking "hmm... there's nothing below here, wonder if someone will 'feel' that" :) but the location they are in made the most sense and does allow for opportunities in the future to round out that mystery floor area. The more stuff we add in the future, the more the interior and exteriors will be irrelevant to one another (moreso than they already are).

Loads of stuff was caught that we thought for sure we had accounted for, so a huge thanks to all of your great feedback and testing! It's very much appreciated (and keep it coming!)
