During the 2nd rallosian war, urduuk and the rallosians took Gukta, the story said they snuck away into the tunnel into the depths of Guk.

So my question is, how did all of the guktans escape the undead in deepest Guk, as well as the curse to make their escape?

Does anyone have any information on this?

It's not stated that they went *THAT* deep. Besides, not all of Lower Guk were filled with undead frogloks.

I didn't know that actually, I recalled the area known as "Deepest guk" in EQ1 that was crawling with the beasties.

Guk is full of numerous caverns and tunnels to hide in, after all. A small part of Lower Guk in EQlive was still inhabited by living frogloks though. It was next to a zone that lead back up to Upper Guk.

It was the next expansion after Planes of Power.

LDoN kinda has to be considered non-canon. The Sand Elves found in what would now be the desert of flames are alive. Trying to account for that in EQ2 just doesn't jive. The Living Tombs is populated by ancient undead, not "a bunch of recently killed elves turned mummies created during either the rending or shattering".

I only partially agree. like for example the 'mistmoore catacombs' were the LDON mistmoore sones. the sand elves were the last remnant of elves in Takish'Hiz, who tired with geomancy to alter themsleves and the city with teh sands of the desert that was consuming them. the Silent City/living tombs is a different city then that, so theoretically the Sand Elves and the remains of Takish'Hiz may still be buried in the sands. Deepest Guk may very well be found later. and I think the only other LDoN set ther was was in EF dealing with Miragul's Menagerie.

Since they took the catacombs and kinda of canonized them you coudl say from LDoN, it's not impossible to think we might see or find out about the other areas sometime. (though I wouldn't bet on it.)

Miragul's Menagerie, The Rujarkian Hill Orcs, Mistmoore's Catacombs.. All of those are acknowledged in EQlive's lore long before LDON came out. Heck, if Mistmoore Catacombs was based off anything that LDOn established, we'd all be fighting "lesser" vampires who's blood purity is not good enough for them to ever be allowed the right to see the night sky above the surface. The story behind those catacombs were that the vampires were of a lesser caste than Mistmoore or any of the other noble vampires. They're not even permitted to leave those places.

EQ2's Catacombs are a more hospitable place. The lower part of the castle is where guests are invited/kidnapped and held with some amount of hospitality until they can conduct their business with the proper authorities in the castle.

Miragul's Menagerie is represented by that series of tunnels found underneath the frozen river in Everfrost. You even fight him down there.
